Project Manager/Design

Design and project management experience with water treatment plants preferred. Knowledge of environmental regulations, technologies, and operations related to drinking water treatment facilities. Master’s degree required in Civil/Environmental Engineering with emphasis on water/wastewater. PE required. Five to ten years experience desired. Ability to take direction and work independently on projects. Attention to detail. Good communications and interpersonal skills. Competent in the use of word processing, data management, spreadsheets, and analysis. Individual will be responsible for design and design oversight of treatment plants or segments thereof. Should have experience managing junior engineers, CADD, and technical designers. Capable of client interaction. Relocation and/or signing bonus will be considered for the right candidate. Must have US citizenship or permanent work visa.

Architect

EE&T seeks a licensed architect with five years experience that is ready for a project management role. Tremendous opportunity for someone looking to advance with a nationally established firm. Process Engineer

EE&T, Inc. is seeking a water/wastewater engineer for their Newport News, VA office. The ideal candidate will have a PE (or at least EIT) license, MS or PhD in Civ/Env/Sanitary Engineering with 0 to 5 years experience in the domestic water/wastewater field, including treatment plant evaluations, master planning, treatability studies, and applied research. A strong background in drinking water treatment processes and exceptional communication and writing skills are required. Demonstrated analytical skills with special emphasis on water research. Ability to take direction and work independently on projects. Attention to detail. Good communications and interpersonal skills. Competent in the use of word processing, data management, spreadsheets, and analysis. The position follows a technical career track that includes the following job duties: publishing articles; presenting at technical conferences; deliver expert support and technical oversight to project work throughout the firm; mentor others including involving them in research; proposal support; and client interface. Relocation and/or signing bonus will be considered for the right candidate. Must have US citizenship or permanent work visa.

Electrical Engineer

Junior level position for a new or recent graduate in electrical engineering. EIT required with requirement to take PE exam upon obtaining necessary experience.

Individual will work under a Senior Electrical Engineer on projects ranging from general building electrical to complex VFD and high horsepower motors. Experience in instrumentation and control desired.

Mechanical Engineer

Junior or mid-level position reporting to Senior Mechanical Engineer. PE or close to obtaining PE required.

Individual will work on design of HVAC systems, including complicated laboratory designs. Also requires design of plumbing and piping systems for water, gasses, and chemical feed equipment.
