news EE&T has been selected by the City of Cleveland Division of Water to provide residuals management services at its Morgan Water Treatment Plant. EE&T will be conducting thickening studies, mechanical and non-mechanical dewatering evaluations, and beneficial use alternatives analysis. news AwwaRF has announced that EE&T,Inc. has been involved with over $30,000,000 in AwwaRF funded research projects.

news EE&T is pleased to announce a new addition to our executive team. EE&T has hired Mr. Gary Whitten, P.E., to be the Director of the Southwest Region. Mr. Whitten will bring 26 years of extensive experience in environmental engineering to EE&T. The majority of his experience has been in the areas of water and wastewater design. Gary’s addition will play a major role in EE&Ts on-going plan for geographic expansion and will also bring diversity to our design team.

news EE&T has been selected by the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority in Charlottesville, Va to design various water treatment plant improvements. The project will consist primarily of filter media, underdrains, and instrumentation upgrades at three water treatment plants.

news EE&T has been selected by the US Army Corps of Engineers for a three-year contract to assist with studies and designs at its two water treatment plants that serve the Greater Washington DC area. Projects will primarily deal with meeting regulations, and plant upgrades. EE&T is currently finishing the construction administration for a new water quality facility at one of the plants under a different contract.

news EE&T has been retained by the Cleveland Division of Water to perform an assessment of its Water Quality Unit and functions. The purpose of the task is to determine gaps in the current organization as compared to the desired/expected capabilities of the Water Quality Group and functions throughout CWD and to review the facilities and determine future needs. news The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Jab) in Newport News operates the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility for the Department of Energy. EE&T recently completed the design of a new stormwater retention pond for the facility. They have also asked us to do the preliminary planning on two new stormwater ponds that will be required for additional facility development.

news EE&T has been awarded a project from USEPA in support of their $20 million Arsenic Demonstration Program. EE&T has been asked to assess the impact of this demonstration project on the water supply industry.

news After completing an upgrade study and design for new generators and roofs for Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority (RWSA) in Charlottesville, Va, EE&T is now working with RWSA on a series of issues related to DBP compliance at their 5 WTPs. Most recently we were retained to conduct distribution system time travel modeling for DBP evaluation and sample site selection. AWWARF Toolbox Program

The LT2ESWTR Toolbox Guidance Program is designed to aid water utilities in evaluating treatment options for LT2ESWTR compliance at their water treatment plant. The Toolbox Program guides the user through several steps for evaluation and comparison of Cryptosporidium credits associated with the LT2ESWTR.
